Designed around a 2.5” SSD, the Poseidon Xtreme Caddy is an innovative new product designed to be used where a high level of data security is required. Designed in conjunction with our Poseidon Xtreme i7 Rugged Computer, the SSD contains the computers Operating System and secure mission data and can be removed from the platform between tasking. A connection cable of up to 2m long provides a high degree of flexibility for the Caddy’s installation within an application. The Poseidon Xtreme Caddy’s inbuilt heater allows operation to extreme temperatures of  -50°C to +80°C whilst also benefitting from our innovative inbuilt shock & vibration protection system. The Poseidon Xtreme Caddy has a fully machined IP67 sealed housing allowing it to operate in the harshest of environments.

Compatible with military grade encrypted drives such as Eclypt Core 600 suitable for UK security classification Top Secret & below.

It is designed to work with our Xtreme Docking Station for the ultimate in simplicity of operation in applications such as airborne EW platforms where data security is paramount.
